George Bologan, the Romanian Ambassador to Italy
George Bologan has been Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Romania to the Italian Republic since July 2016. Previously he was the general consul of Romania in Milan and diplomat at the Romanian Embassy in Rome, responsible for cultural issues and the relationship with the Romanian community. During the period 1995-2003 he worked as a reporter, a journalist accredited to the Holy See, a TV journalist. He studied both in Romania and in the Pontifical universities in Rome in the fields of communication, theology, European affairs and international relations.
