physician (specialised in medical recovery, physical medicine
and balneology) informed
with regard to the patient’s evolution.
In addition, when patients receive therapeutic massage,
we provide them with bathrobes and slippers. This is because I always felt bad about entering the treatment room and having to undress and leave my clothes on a chair in a corner of the room. No, we do not want that. We care not only about an efficient recovery, adapted to the patients’ needs, but also about their comfort and privacy.
With regard to the physiotherapy services, what solutions does the clinic offer its patients to truly support them?
Physiotherapy is an important component of medical recovery, and the underlying techniques should not be neglected at all. The main directions of treatment in physiotherapy are muscles, joints and nerves. Physical therapy aims at relieving pain and speeding up the healing process, but kinetic treatment is very important as well. Physiotherapy is the set of therapeutic applications based on the use of physical agents such as magnetic waves, short waves, laser and ultrasounds, cryothermal agents, but also low or high frequency electric currents.
The equipment used in physiotherapy is state-of- the-art and includes a wide range of treatment protocols. When it comes to providing solutions to patients, the credit goes to Dr. Mihaela Parnia

because she is the one who, after consultation, establishes the diagnosis and outlines a recovery program.
What can you tell us about the future development of the centre?
The goal is to expand the service range and to invest in our team. We have already taken the first steps in this regard and with effect from December our list of services will include psychotherapy. With the help of psychologist Răzvan Gabriel Zaharia, we will provide the psychological
support that people need. Răzvan is a member of the Romanian Psychologists College, of the Romanian Association for Clinical Hypnosis, Relaxation and Ericksonian Therapy and of the Romanian Psychotherapy Federation.
We also plan to establish collaborations with physicians from specialized areas: orthopaedics, neurosurgery and rheumatology.
As for the team, for a long- term development of the centre, we will continue
to invest in the team and gradually expand it.
