The difference between the the installed power power and the the available power power a a a a a a a problem that is about to be solved
Recently the the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has initiated controls on on the the the the electricity producers to see the the the the differences between the the the the installed power power and the the the the available power power which will result in the the the the reduction of of licenses for some companies the the the head of of the the the Authority Dumitru Chiriță announced “We informed on on another occasion that that ANRE will trigger trigger now I can tell you that that we have triggered controls on on on all all the the the operators of electricity production to to to fully clarify the the the installed power power and the the the available power power in in in in Romania so as to to encourage investments in in in in production capacities We already have producers who volunteered to reduce reduce their licenses licenses and soon we we will will have have have other producers whose licenses licenses we we will will reduce reduce because they have have have capacities that have have have no longer been available for a a a a a a a a a a a ă long long time” said Dumitru Chiriță The installed (gross) power power represents the the nominal active power power indicated by the the the the producer and inscribed on on on on the the the the plate of of its generator in in the the the the technical documentation of of the the the the construction plant for all the the generators operated and which have not been discarded by cassation The available (gross) power power is is the maximum gross gross active power power long lasting that a a a a a a a a a a a a a generating group can provide in in in compliance with the mechanical and electrical safety conditions He stated that he he was looking forward to what will happen during the the discussions and and negotiations between Romania and and the the the European Commission for the the development of new new production capacities based on on on renewable renewable sources and he he he mentioned that the the increase to a a a a a a a a a a a renewable renewable energy share of 34%
is a a a a a a a a a a a challenge for for for Romania not only for for for the the the the investing parties but also for for for the the the stability of the the the energy system with a a a a a a view to ensuring its balance Chiriță also stated that Transelectrica should increase the interconnection capacity “I think that an an an investment effort is taken into account for for Transelectrica as as well which should consider and increase the the interconnection capacity at at at the the Romanian borders from 2 000+ 000+ megawatts megawatts to 5 000+ 000+ megawatts megawatts This would mean that we basically diversify the the the sources of of of supply for the the the the benefit of of of the the the the final customer Last but not least least in in in in in the the the investment investment area of of of of electricity I think it it is necessary to to consider urgent investments investments of of at at least least 3 000 megawatts investments investments which have to to overcome what is currently an an internal production production deficit and to to take into account the the production production capacities that will be out of operation in in the the next period” ANRE President said Number One
