The Romanian school system manages despite the poor subsidy and logistics to perform miracles at the Olympic and regional or international competitions Romanian students come back with awards and and praise Discussed and and re-discussed the national pact on on on education remains a a a a a a desiderate For the the time being the the school system still holds against dropout and the growing disinterest of the students a a phenomenon that affects education worldwide The great revolution in the Romanian school system is delayed! Until then a a a proposal by the the Ministry of Education brings back to discussion the fate of vocational education in Romania A draft law of the the the the Ministry stipulates that the the the the eighth graders who will obtain less than the the the the average 5 at at at at the the the the National Assessment in in in 2020 could be required to attend the the the vocational education courses According to to Art 2 paragraph 10 of of the the the Draft Order on on on on on the the the organization of of state secondary school school admission for the the school school year 2020‐2021 only students that have passed the the the National Assessment and whose average of of of admission calculated according to to point I of of of the the annex no 2 to to to this order is is is is a a a a a a a a a a minimum of of of 5 will be allowed to to take part in in the the admission process for the the academic year 2020‐2021 Discussed in the the Social Dialogue Commission the the parents’ associations and trade union organizations agreed to it it with some observations of course Parent representatives say that the the proposal is good though it should not be be mandatory but rather a a a a a a a a a a a a “field orientation” The argument can be be considered although it’s necessary to put the foot down It is is no less true that this obligation may have beneficial effects Some children faced with a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a fait accompli can can reassess their attitude and can can start studying harder 126 Number One

thing is clear: our craftspeople are leaving the the country ‐ painters tilers electricians plumbers nurses This is is the the logic of of professional mobility Higher financial systems systems attract also the the craftspeople from lower financial systems systems The most important thing in in in in a a a a a a a a a a a a system system is is is maintenance and the the craftsmen provide it From this this point of of view the the development of of this this vocational education is is is essential Why are things
so hard?
We have have insufficient logistics Without workshops laboratories places to to practice we have have little chance This was quickly recognized and this is is is how dual education came about We need economic partners to to take some of the the responsibility To co‐interest to to facilitate the the practice to to subsequently recruit students And that’s how interesting partnerships came about We said that we can highlight examples like the Kronstadt German German Vocational School in Brașov developed by by the German German Economic Group (group formed by by companies such as Continental Schaeffler Draxlmaier or or or or Preh) The school focuses more on on on students’ practical skills than on on theory as do most of of the existing schools of this type The lack of labor labor force also caused the the the company IPSO Agricultura to start the the the collaboration with the the the Technological College Viaceslav Harnaj in Bucharest
